LEADERSHIP

Maria Esther Martinez

Chief Executive Officer

Maria holds an M.S. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo (Spain) and an MBA by ESADE Business School (Barcelona-Spain). She has more than a decade of RFID and IoT experience, working at the Airbus Headquarters in France as Radio-communication Engineer before she joined Alcatel in Dubai to work on the Dubai Airport expansion as Radio System Lead Engineer. Upon conclusion of this project, Maria joined the Kuwaiti-owned technology start-up TagStone to introduce RFID technology in the Middle East where she quickly progressed to COO of the company. In 2018, Maria moved to Miami and co-founded AEROSENS where she combines her technical backgrounds and her years of experience in leading aviation projects and technical teams as CEO of the company.

Reza Shibli

Chief Technology Officer

Reza holds a B.S. in Computer Science from McGill University (Canada) and is an experienced Product Manager with a passion for building, launching, and optimizing B2B and B2C experiences that impact millions of users per day. He has lead teams of developers, analysts, product owners, and business owners to successfully identify and deliver on product opportunities and has gained more than a decade of experience transforming business requirements into working systems.

Rafael Alonso

Chief Commercial Officer

Rafael holds an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Madrid (Spain). He retired from his position as President Airbus Latin America & Caribbean after over 30 years in the industry. Rafael brings an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience that is invaluable when designing systems tailored for the airline industry.
